The Miracle of Life
When children of all ages experience the miracle of life, they connect to a deeper part of themselves. This program is designed to provide an experience of understanding growth of life. The Community House Network will provide everything you need to create an engaging and awe inspiring experience for the young people at your site.

Watch Life Unfold
Our staff will work with your staff to provide activities that will engage the youth at your site. Painting, drawing, sculpting, each activity will deepen the engagement and understanding of the processes occuring within the egg. Playful and fun lessons will explain each phase of the chicks' development, and provide artisitic age appropriate activities to deepen and personalize the knowledge. The goal is to provide an understanding of life, while creating a reverance for the process of the development of the embryo.
We hatch eggs between the months of March to July. Each hatch takes 21 days.
If you decide you would like to have baby chicks hatched at your site, we will do all the work for you.
We use the Brinsea 24 egg incubator, which has a high hatch rate. We will bring the incubator and fertilized eggs to your site and set it up. We require a flat stable surface for the eggs to incubate in a temperature controlled space.
All aspects of the process are shared with the youth. From the candling of the eggs, to the early hatching, the youth are encouraged to participate. We will provide additional artistic activities that teach about biology and the stages of development.
This program is free of charge to non-profit organizations that qualify.
